1 - Accounts

1.1 - Account security is the sole responsibility of the player. If a player lends their account, be aware that any penalties incurred by the user who is not the owner will fall upon the account owner. If a player lends their account and password to a friend, and that friend steals the account by changing the password, the owner must request a password reset. If the email is not confirmed, is outdated, or if the "friend" changes the registration details, the staff will not be held responsible for the account and will be unable to assist. All players must keep their antivirus/spyware or any other security software up to date, as we are not responsible for account theft via Keyloggers or access from insecure locations.

1.2 - Do not give your password to anyone, not even the Staff. The Staff is capable of resolving any issue without needing player passwords. No staff member is authorized to request your password through any means, whether via Discord, in-game, email, Facebook, IRC, TS, or Skype.

1.3 - The sale of accounts and items outside of LegacyRO is strictly prohibited. Accounts that are traded or even advertised for sale inside or outside of LegacyRO will be permanently banned from the Server. If traded items are discovered, the player's account will be permanently BANNED. In case of account theft, LegacyRO will not return any items, but we will investigate to punish the culprit. (All server passwords are encrypted - once encrypted, they can never be reverted to a normal password).

1.5 - If you do not log into your account for a period exceeding 90 days (3 months), your account will be subject to deletion during a previously announced maintenance.
